The effect is dynamic and the brightened texture can't be found in the assets.

Primed TNT cannot be pushed by players or other mobs, but it moves when in flowing water or lava. When primed TNT detonates while in water or lava, it does not break any blocks. It does still damage players, mobs, and other entities.

Primed TNT is not teleported when entering a nether portal ; instead, it passes through portal blocks. The fuse timer keeps counting down unless the spawn chunks are unloaded, then it pauses until a player loads the chunks. If the TNT is primed atop any sort of fence post that is two blocks high or larger, it falls through the fence block on which it was activated and stops on the next lower one. Its detonation damages only the fence block it was "stuck" in. In Java Edition primed TNT summoned by a command explodes immediately because the fuse time defaults to zero if not specified.

TNT can be used in a variety of traps. The simplest of them — a land mine — is made of TNT connected to a pressure plate or tripwire with redstone. One such trap generates naturally in desert pyramids under the loot area.

Some cannons can also be used to launch other entities or objects into the air. Mobs killed by player-ignited TNT via flint and steel or by flaming arrows drop experience orbs as though they were killed by the player in regular combat.

Here is a quick comparison chart. There is some variety in the Xplosives mod. There is a snowball TNT. It throws snowballs in all directions which is kind of cool. There are 2 arrow TNTs. They all just explode stuff, plain and simple. Here is a big one: Even More Explosives. It has throwable dynamites rather than stationary TNT blocks.

There are 51 different explosions in that mod. This mod actually makes an attempt to have a more diverse range of different TNTs, ranging from explosive to special effects and things like that.

For example, there is a Dynamite x, a snow dynamite, a sponge dynamite, a soul sand dynamite some other things. The major issue with this is that they are all really low quality were probably products of very little effort. There will be more on that later. It has many TNTs with a vast range of different functions from causing major destruction to flooding the world with diamonds to offending North Korea so badly that it starts a war.

The explosion from the Hydrogen Bomb reasonably big. It is times bigger than regular TNT. I hear multiple explode sound effects every time I explode Dynamite x so they must have taken 4 of something the size of the nuke and put it together or something.

Here is an example of an explosion from the Doom TNT. Look at how beautiful and magnificent the crater is. Nothing like this has been seen in any of the previous mods whatsoever. It packs a serious punch. It is times more powerful than regular TNT. This explosion is so big that it puts all the other TNT mods to shame.

You will probably never find this in any other TNT mod ever. At least they all work. But it gets worse. They must not have known how to make textures work right because every time you ignite one of these TNTs, the texture disappears. Even more, explosives actually make an attempt to make additional TNTs that do things other than just blow up.

There are things like snow dynamite, sand dynamite, ice dynamite, sponge dynamite and soul sand dynamite. It sounds like a good thing at first but you are about to see just how pointless these really are.
